It’s great when environmental protection only knows winners! In our “Old against New” programme we offer our customers the opportunity to have faulty sports equipment returned to us. If they are made of aluminium (and this is usually the case), we even return the material value or credit it to a current order. Good for the environment, good for our customers!
The recycling of materials is an important factor in our production processes. For example, we collect and re-use packaging material that is produced in tons in times of massively increasing parcel traffic. We also try to use recycled material for our products. For example, our take-off boards are made of recycled material. We are working on returning even more used plastics (such as from old artificial turf pitches) to the production cycle in order to create new, innovative products.
In our home town of Münster it literally rains a lot. And yet there is more than enough sun to operate our solar system. We can make good use of this energy: For example, for the energy-intensive welding that is essential for the construction of sports equipment.
We also have a shavings heating system: with this we can recycle old wood, such as defective pallets, which are no longer worth repairing.
